Curricular Internship
Curricular internships are a means for students to know the strategy, the mission, the values and the organizational culture of the Mário Soares and Maria Barroso Foundation, while acquiring professional experience at the worksite and a learning experience for the future.
Internship Modalities
Curricular internships: Students attending high school or university courses complement the knowledge acquired at the higher education institution of their training area with work, deepening their theoretical and practical knowledge in the different operating areas of the Mário Soares and Maria Barroso Foundation. Duration: maximum 6 months.
Extracurricular internships: For any interested person, with more than 18 years-old, having the minimum compulsory schooling level required from a person of his/her age. They enable experience at the worksite, with a view to deepening their theoretical and practical knowledge in the different operating areas of the Mário Soares and Maria Barroso Foundation. Duration: maximum 3 months.

Archives, History and Heritage: 2 vacancies / year (Lisbon)
Information and Documentation Sciences: 2 vacancies / year (Lisbon and Leiria)
Cultural heritage digitisation: 2 vacancies / year (Lisbon)
Educational services / cultural mediation: 1 vacancy / year (Lisbon and Leiria)
