The Books of Mário Soares’ Life

The Casa do Conhecimento of the University of Minho, in Largo do Paço, Braga, will host the round table "The Books of Mário Soares’ Life" on 23 April at 6.30pm, as part of the “Conversations in the House” cycle and the centenary of Mario Soares’ birth.

The session will feature speeches by Isabel Soares, president of the Mário Soares and Maria Barroso Foundation, Pedro Marques Gomes, professor and researcher; and Maria João Avillez, author of three works on Mário Soares. Professor Sérgio Guimarães Sousa, from UMinho's School of Letters, Arts and Human Sciences, will moderate the event.

The event is free to attend and can also be watched online, subject to prior registration.
