Sons da Liberdade concert dedicated to Mário Soares

The ‘Sons da Liberdade’ concert, organised by Guimarães City Council, will be dedicated to Mário Soares, as part of the centenary celebrations of his birth.

The show will take place on 24 April, at 10pm, in the Grand Auditorium at the Vila Flor Cultural Centre. Tickets can be purchased online.

The repertoire includes some themes that relate directly to Mário Soares' political career and will be performed by the Banda Musical de Pevidém, the Coro da Liberdade and the Guimarães Soloists, with the participation of Selma Uamusse.
