Job position at the Mário Soares and Maria Barroso Foundation - archivist
The Mário Soares and Maria Barroso Foundation is looking to hire an Archivist to join its team in Lisbon.

Requirements
- Master's degree in Information and Documentation Sciences, or a related field
- Proven professional experience in the field of archiving.
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English.
- Knowledge of and experience with archive management platforms and collaborative tools.
- Basic knowledge of preventive conservation techniques.
Job role
- Organising, preserving and describing historical documents.
- Digitisation support.
- Elaboration of finding aids.
- Document storage management.
- Supporting users.
- Collaboration in actions to publicise the archives.
Conditions of employment
- Location: Fundação Mário Soares e Maria Barroso, Lisbon
- Contact: For an uncertain term, 40 hours a week.
- Salary: 1 100,00€ per month (gross).
