Applications for the Mário Soares - EDP Foundation 2025 Award, granted by the Mário Soares and Maria Barroso Foundation and the EDP Foundation, are open until 30 September.

Scope and target

• Theses, dissertations or other original research works in the field of Contemporary Portuguese History.
• Completed or published in the last 3 years.
• National or foreign authors up to the age of 35.

Prize

5 000,00€ 

Evaluation and selection

A jury made up of three members of recognised competence in the scientific areas of the prize.

• Submission of applications: until 30th September
• Announcement of results: until 30th November
• Award ceremony: 7th December
