Conference ‘An Atlanticist vision of Portuguese foreign policy: the legacy of Mário Soares and the challenges of the future’

The conference ‘An Atlanticist vision of Portuguese foreign policy: the legacy of Mário Soares and the challenges of the future’, part of the cycle of conferences on the centenary of Mário Soares, will take place on 27 May 2025, between 5.30pm and 8.30pm, in the FLAD auditorium in Lisbon.

The event will feature speeches by Nuno Severiano Teixeira, General João Vieira Borges, António Vitorino and David Castaño, moderated by journalist Luísa Meireles.

Admission is free, subject to prior registration.

The initiative, promoted by the Diplomatic Institute, is part of the Mário Soares Centenary commemorations programme.
